A determined group of over 300 Temple Sinai members banded together in 2020 to ensure that eligible voters around the country were registered to vote and had the ability to have their voices heard. Temple Sinai joined with the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism and Reclaim Our Vote in this effort. Congregants wrote postcards, called and texted to ensure that people knew where and how to register to vote.
Temple Sinai’s Team GOTV continues to write post cards and to make calls and texts to voters. In conjunction with the RAC’s Every Voice Every Vote Campaign, we work with Reclaim Our Vote (ROV), a volunteer-driven, nonpartisan voter outreach campaign to empower voters of color and fight voter suppression, especially in the South.
