MLK Mitzvah Day

Join us for Temple Sinai’s First Ever Congregation-Wide Mitzvah Day!
On Sunday, January 18, 10am – 12pm, we will honor Dr. King’s vision of justice and compassion by giving back to our community.
We’ll gather at Temple Sinai DC to take part in hands-on projects that support our neighbors in need throughout the Washington, DC area. Together, we’ll:
- Assemble hygiene kits for local shelters
- Prepare lunches for hungry people
- Participate in additional service projects to help our community – even some from home!
This is a day for all ages to live out the Jewish value of tikkun olam—repairing the world—side by side with friends, family, and fellow congregants.
Come, roll up your sleeves, and be part of making a difference! All ages welcome.
