Their daughter was murdered in the 2012 Aurora\, CO\, movie theater shooting\, and they have been tireless advocates for survivors of gun violence. She has more than a decade of litigation experience that she now uses to help survivors of gun violence find justice against the gun industry for the devastation caused to their families and others.\nSenator Jeff Waldstreicher (D-18)\, Vice Chair of the Maryland Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee. He is a leader in sponsoring and supporting gun safety legislation\, and he will reintroduce a gun industry accountability bill in the Maryland General Assembly 2024 session.\nKaren Herren\, Executive Director\, Marylanders to Prevent Gun Violence (moderator). We will be helping to stop the spread of invasive plants in order to allow native plants in Rock Creek to thrive.
